I have chosen Reiki books which specialise for the most part in different areas or aspects of Reiki and each bring with it huge value in particular to any Reiki practitioner or student.
No 5. Reiki For Life: The complete guide to reiki practice for levels 1, 2 & 3
Reiki for Life is my go to guide for learning and teaching Reiki. Recommended to me by my Reiki Master as a more accessible option to the obligatory Reiki manual handed out to new students, it is comprehensive, easy to read and covers everything in each level from Reiki 1 2 &3.
No4. Grief Reiki
Having grieved 2 parents one without Reiki and one with Reiki I can see the monumental difference it made to me. Which is why I chose this book to be in my top 5.
This book takes a gentle and thoughtful approach to helping you through the grieving process and offers wonderful insights, practical exercises, meditations and information to contemplate.
Ehlers quite rightly says Reiki cannot take the pain away but it will bring you the peace and calmness which can be lost in Grief.
No3. Essential Reiki: A Complete Guide to an Ancient Healing Art
Essential Reiki has some cross over with Reiki for life in that is covers each level of Reiki both theory and practice. For me it’s slightly more difficult to read because the typeface is smaller and closer together. That said the illustrations are much better and have their own index. Plus it goes into subjects such as Kundalini and it covers Qi gone and the way energy flows through the body and gives exercises to harness and control the movement of energy in your body. Personally I like having both this book and Reiki for life. Reiki for life is an easier read and Essential Reiki provides valuable additional content and great visuals.
No 2 The Way of Reiki
I am so glad that this book was written and it speaks directly to my heart. It speaks to the more spiritual and connected part of Reiki, the Reiki principles, oneness, duality a mindful and loving way of approaching Reiki and walking a Reiki path. Inspirational book for compassion and kindness.

Shamanic Reiki for practiced Reiki healers and teachers who are looking to deepen there connection with nature and their understanding of working with energy. This book simply and beautifully combines practical exercises, information to help Reiki healers bring together ancient shamanistic practices with Reiki healing to deepen the understanding of energy work and provide long practiced techniques to integrate with Reiki. It is not necessary to become a shaman to use the practices in this book.
